Baby Alpaca & Silk 4 ply / fingering knitting yarn. Kettle Dyed on a lustrous 70% Baby Alpaca 30% Silk in my home studio in a solid tone Jade green. Softest baby alpaca gives a halo with lots of drape from mulberry silk.

A wonderful yarn for next to the skin garments requiring drape. Baby Silk 4 ply is especially suited to weaving, knitting and crochet; making scarves, shawls, wraps, baby and adult garments.

This a very high quality Peruvian yarn which is warmer than wool, soft, hard wearing and will make luxurious hand knits. Baby Alpaca is one of the most luxurious fibres in the world. The silk gives ‘Baby Silk’ a shiny smooth lustre which feels soft and luxurious to work with.
